PDF signing questions
Is the IIIVP PDF signer free?
Yes. Signing and filling in a PDF is free. A free IIIVP account is needed to download your signed PDF.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Your PDF is opened and signed in your own browser and never leaves your device.
Is this a legally valid signature?
It is a simple electronic signature: a picture of your signature placed on the page, like signing on paper. It is accepted for many everyday documents, but it is not a certified digital signature. Some offices and authorities require a certified one, so check with the office you are sending it to.
How can I make my signature?
Draw it with a finger or mouse, type your name in a handwriting style, or upload a photo of your signature on white paper (the paper is removed for you). You can keep it on your device for next time.
Can I sign on my phone?
Yes. Open the PDF, tap Signature, then tap the page where it should go. Drag it to move it and drag the corner dot to resize it.
What is the small line at the bottom of the signed pages?
Every page you sign gets a small "Signed with www.iiivp.com" line at its very bottom edge, which links to our website.
Can I type text in Urdu or Arabic?
Not yet: text boxes take English letters, numbers and common signs. You can still draw or upload a signature in any language.
